Progression Drawings

From Sketch to finish

1. I always start with a tiny thumbnail for a pose, then I start on the bigger
picture. Lots of circles and scribles as I try to get the proportions
*just* right. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not.

2. Next I start fleshing out the picture.. this is generally the
fun part. Putting in details, trying to make things 
look nice.

3. Once it looks good, I either color it without inking.. or I ink it and put
it in some kind of frame. With this picture I had fun.

4. Finally I color it... either with colored pencils or on the computer.
