"Rabbits are born with the knowledge that being cute
will get them whatever they want." ~ Sandi Ackerman

Welcome to Dustbunny's dusty corner.
Watch out for the pencil shavings and scraps of paper everywhere.

Hi, I am Dust the bunny from Furry Muck... an English angora / lop anthromorph. In order for that to be understood.. let me put a couple pictures of the REAL bunnies here. Why did I choose those two? Well... I used to have a pet angora/lop mix bunny, his name was Dabner . He had long soft soft fur, and floppy ears. So when I was choosing an animal to be, I just had to be a bunny like that. Wiggly nose and all.  =:)

Another thing about such a critter is that she has to be brushed and groomed regularly. Her hair can be collected, and spun into yarn to make a wonderful soft sweaters and such.

I also like to sketch, and have done a couple sketches now. The one on the top of the page  is of my character. I've also done one for Pixel  <waves a thanks cuz she gave me a place to put this  page>  and for a raven named Timothy on Furry Muck. :),  Another is of  Bumble-bee and her kitty friend, also from Furry Muck. And the last two giant bunny pictures are for Theophilous. Most recent has been Lila a black wolf - hard to see much detail as she's black.. it's hard doing black fur. Then there is Marabou - every boy should have a pet skunk in a jar!

The latest is KatieKat... long over due and I promised her some color. :)

Bunny Behavior

Begging ~ Bunnies do all sorts of things to get attention, from running in circles, to standing up on their hind legs wiggling their noses looking cute. Bunnies often beg for something they think they want.. a tastie treat or special attention.

Chewing ~ Bunnies will chew many things! A good idea is for a bunny to have a special chew toy, maybe a piece of wood or lots of carrots.

Chinning ~ Bunnies like many animals, mark their possessions with a special musk which is released from a gland under their chin. So having a bunny rub her chin on you may have more reasons then just snuggling!
Circling ~ Umm... a sure sign of a yiffy feeling bunny. The bunny may bounce in circles making small oinking or honking noises. (sorta like guinea pigs)
Dancing ~ Hoping around, twisting and kicking up her feet, this dancing is all a form of expressing her happiness, contentment and happy mood.
Bunny Organization ~ DON'T Mess with my stuff!! Bunnies like things they way they put them, organized or not. <g>
Grunting  ~ a unhappy sound, sometimes might be accompanied by kicks or bites.
Sniffing ~ might just be smelling something good, or expressing emotions.
Teeth Grinding ~ sometimes accompanied by half closed eyes... it's a yummy contented happy sign.
Teeth Crunching and Chattering ~ louder then grinding, this is often a sign of pain and sometimes is accompanied by the ears pressing tight against the body.
Bunny Poo ~ hehehe.. watch out.. dropping little bunny terds can be a sign of marking her territory, better hope it's not in your pocket.
Throwing ~ Bunnies, like cats, love to play and toss their toys around!
Thumping ~ Not only will bunnies thump their back leg in fear or feeling threatened. The will often give a single thump to express their displeasure at something.
